Stealing actions are increasing at Semtema Street.

Stealing is the action of taking some one’s property without his her willingness. Nowadays the behaviors of stealing were increase daily to daily. Hence Stealing is the world wide problem which faces many families as well as individuals and not

only.

If we prefer to some verses from the bible like Exodus 22:1 it said that;
"If a man steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep”.

According to many sources this behavior of stealing is now increasingly daily to daily at

and other places. At Semtema Street on weds day Jan 2011 to a one house where students are living, the problem was took place to Mr. Ally Said’s room (IT2)The situation was not easy for Ally to determine whether thief could come to his room that day.

According to Mr. Ally this happened  at night on 11:30pm as a magic situation simply because, before the circumstance to take place he was still reading by using its computer, but unfortunately enough that thief enter to his room suddenly he took the laptop fast. In his feelings, he felt that he is a friend, after that he started to fight with him, but Ally failed and shouted while the thief was ran away towards to dark place.

After the shouted from Ally, other students who live in the same house wakeup and come to what is wrong. The victim started to explained what’s happened to him, some of them stared to complain by saying that, why don’t you shout before the thief was not ran away?  Their complains lied towards Ally simply because he was the victim of the problem concern. Hence Ally remains with helpless from any body. Up to date no one were caught to concern with problem and investigations is still going on.

Also this was happened to another student from (IT2) Francis Mwakalinga.According to him he said that, his friend (his name hidden) from LLB2 come to his room with another person as a friend, after they finished to talked to the important issues, Mwakalinga left them in his room and go to his friend. But when he was returned to his room he found that his phone and cooking utensils was not available and his friend has already gone “he amazing”. After he tried to consult his friend by asked him whether he took that things, he friend refused, by using the force again he asked him and his friend accepted that he was taken them and agreed that he will returned them as soon as possible .

While talking to the individual’s person who lived at semtema, some of them they said that the bad behavior of stealing is increasingly daily to daily even among themselves. According to Mama Waridi she said that in her house where she, this behavior was took place where by a certain woman was caught stolen to another woman room. She said that even if you want to the toilet you’re supposed to close your room for the safety.

Not only semtema but also this happened to Tumaini students who lived on campus, even to the University properties. According to the students this happened to some dormitory where by a certain things like phones, laptop as well as University properties like projector Computer mouse, keyboard and so far were stolen daily to daily.

So in order to solve this problem there are some measures or bylaws could be made so that to govern them for example, for any person who is not a member of a certain community (house) whenever he or she want or you need somebody your supposed to ask a permission before you enter into the gate, and for one who will be caught stealing, could be punished even the verses from the bible like Exodus 22:1 says that  “If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it or sells it, he shall repay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
